New York Spring Spectacular

After years of design, development and production, the New York Spring Spectacular opened for a limited engagement at Radio City Music Hall in the spring of 2015. Starring the Rockettes and featuring Derek Hough and Laura Benanti in leading roles, the show takes audiences on a dazzling tour celebrating the famous sights, landmarks, and history of New York City. batwin + robin, working with set designer Patrick Fahey and director/choreographer Warren Carlyle, designed and created media for over twenty different scenes, serving as background elements as well as stand-alone video pieces featured throughout the show.

For the Spring Spectacular, b + r utilized an array of LED video and projection surfaces to transform the interior of Radio City into the many iconic sights of NYC, including a 90 ft LED wall, a 50 ft flying 3D LED wall, two traveling LED panels, an LED header, and two LED portals that frame and add depth to the stage.
