batwin + robin was commissioned by the American Museum of Natural History to produce two groundbreaking inaugural shows for the Rose Center for Earth and Space. Working with writer Ann Druyan and astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, both multimedia shows: Hayden Planetarium’s Passport to the Universe and The Big Bang Theater achieve a moving, theatrical combination of audio, video, lighting and effects that brings the science of our universe to vivid life.
The most eloquent summary of the museum’s achievement will be the look on the faces of children…stunned by a virtual trek from Earth to the edge of the observable universe.
